2. Connect the battery charger to the power cord as
shown below.
3. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. The
charger light turns red indicating that the charger
is working.
cCaution:
Be sure to insert all plugs and connectors firmly
and completely.
4. When the batteries are fully charged, the light
goes off. To charge your batteries again, unplug
the AC power cord, and then plug it in again.
Note:
Replace the batteries with new Ni-MH batteries in the
following cases: the charger light stays on for more than
240 minutes or the charger light flashes for more than
half an hour.
5. After the light goes off, unplug the charger. To
avoid overcharging, do not leave the charger
plugged in for long periods of time after the light
goes off.
6. After the batteries cool, remove them from the
charger.
wWarning:
Batteries are very hot (approximately 65°C)
during and just after charging. Wait one hour
for the batteries to cool before handling.
7. Before storing the charger, disconnect the AC
power cord and remove the batteries.
Installing the batteriesBefore installing the batteries, be sure to read the
safety instructions in “When using the charger and
batteries” on page 4.
Make sure the camera is off, and follow these steps to
insert or replace the batteries.
