Caution: Make sure On/ Off switch is in Off (o) position and power supply cord is unplugged before replacing belt. Belt pulley can become hot during normal use. To prevent injury, avoid touching the motor shaft when checking the belt.

Remove hair and threads from brushroll periodically. For best cleaning bristles must touch carpet, if worn down replace brushroll. Note: Do not remove endcaps from brushroll.

Mantenimiento de la banda del cepillo giratorio

Nota: Desactive el interruptor y desconecte el cable de corriente antes de sustituir la banda. Las poleas de la banda se pueden calentar durante el funcionamiento normal. Para evitar lesiones, procure no tocar el eje del motor cuando revise la banda.

1) Pise el pedal para bajar el mango; recueste la aspiradora sobre el piso.

2) Voltee hacia el otro lado la aspiradora

3) Retire 4 tornillos. Vuelva a voltear la aspiradora (el colector de polvo viendo hacia arriba) y extraiga la capucha de la aspiradora.

4) Extraiga el cepillo giratorio y la banda.

5) Enrolle la banda nueva en el eje del motor y después fíjela al cepillo giratorio.

6) Inserte primero el extre- mo izquierdo del cepillo giratorio, después inserte el extremo derecho.

Retirez régulièrement les cheveux et les filets du cylindre brosseur. Pour un meilleur nettoyage, les poils doivent toucher le tapis, s’ils sont trop usés, remplacez le cylindre brosseur. Remarque : Ne retirez pas les bouchons d’extrémité

du cylindre brosseur.

Entretien de la courroie du cylindre brosseur

Remarque : Tournez l’interrupteur en position off et débranchez le cordon d’alimentation avant de remplacer la courroie. Les poulies de courroie peuvent devenir chaudes pendant l’utilisation normale. Pour éviter les blessures, éviter de toucher l’arbre moteur lors de la vérification de la courroie. 1) Utilisez la pédale pour

abaisser la poignée; déposez l’aspirateur

àplat sur le sol.

2)Retournez l’aspirateur.

3)Retirez les 4 vis. Retournez l’aspirateur (le réservoir à poussière fait face au plafond) et retirez le capot de l’aspirateur.

4)Enlevez le cylindre brosseur et la courroie.

5)Enfilez la nouvelle courroie autour de l’arbre moteur puis du cylindre brosseur.

6)Insérer l’extrémité gauche du cylindre bros- seur, en premier, puis l’extrémité droite.
