Front Panel

A.INSTRUMENT INPUT—Features include:Front PanelManual background Plug your acoustic-elec- tric instrument in here. The instrument channel controls are all in the top row.

B.MICROPHONE INPUT—Manual backgroundManual background Balanced XLR jack for a low-impedance microphone. The mic channel controls are all in the bottom row. Phantom power supplied (+15VDC ).

C.PHASE—Manual background Reverses the phase of the instrument channel which will reduce feedback in some situations.

D.VOLUME—Adjusts the loudness of each channel.

E.TREBLE / MID / BASS—Adjusts the tone character of each channel.

F.NOTCH—Manual background Rotate slowly to locate and supress feedback that occurs at a particular frequency on the instrument channel. Rotate fully counter-clockwise when not needed.

G.STRING DYNAMICS—A dynamic tone shaping filter that varies with your playing intensity. Rotate clockwise to reduce treble-frequency harshness at peak levels (or high volume settings) without affecting the crisp brightness when playing more gently.

H.EFFECTS LEVEL—Adjusts the amount of the effects in each channel. To turn OFF effects: rotate fully counter- clockwise or use the footswitch.

I.EFFECTS SELECT—Selects the active effect for each channel. See Effects Descriptions on page 8.

J.TUNER/MUTE— Manual background Press IN to disable all audio output

from the amplifier; useful for silent tune-ups. Manual backgroundManual backgroundManual background LED flashes when selected.

K.PHONES—Plug your stereo headphones in here; speaker outputs are automatically disabled.

L.POWER INDICATOR— Manual backgroundManual backgroundManual background Illuminates when the unit is on.

Manual backgroundManual backgroundManual background Flashes if the unit detects an overload condition such as a faulty speaker cable, improper connection, overheating, or incorrect speaker impedance. The ampli- fier may be more susceptible to overload if high-output effects or other devices are used. The unit will automati- cally try to reset, but if an overload condition still exists after 5 attempts, the unit will remain in protection mode until powered OFF. Remove the overload condition then switch the power back ON; if this LED still flashes, take the unit to an authorized Fender® service center.

Manual background If the Power Indicator does not illuminate, check the fuse. If the fuse is good, leave the unit unplugged for 15 minutes to allow the power supply to reset. If that fails, take the unit to an authorized Fender® service center.
