•Carefully turn the vehicle frame over.
•Fit the curved end of the steering column through the hole in the steering linkage.

Cap Nut
Bottom View
•Fit a cap nut onto the end of the steering column.
•Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the front axle.
Hint: You may want the help of another adult to support the steering column while you tap the cap nut with the hammer.

•Turn the vehicle frame upright.
•Insert the steering column straight end up through the hole in the steering wheel.
•Fit the steering wheel neck down into the hole in the cowling.
•Fit a cap nut onto the end of the steering column.
•Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the steering column.

Exhaust Pipe Front
•Fit the peg on the exhaust pipe front to the exhaust pipe back.
•Insert a screw through the exhaust pipe back and into the exhaust pipe front. Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
