1Make sure both shoulder straps are inserted into the buckle.

2Lift the harness release lever and pull the shoulder straps out as far as you can on the

front of the car seat.

WARNING

NEVER use the upper burgundy shoulder strap slots with a child in the rear-facing position. The shoulder straps will not be snug against your child and your child will not be prop- erly restrained. Use the lower or middle blue shoulder strap slots when using the car seat rear-facing.
