7Remove the shoulder straps from the shoulder strap slots (and the chest clip if previously used)

on the front of the car seat. Re-insert the shoul- der straps through either the lower or middle blue shoulder strap slots. Make sure the shoulder straps are not twisted.

HINT	The chest clip can be used in the rear-facing
position only if your child’s shoulders are at

or above the middle blue shoulder strap slots. Please refer to page 46 to assemble the chest clip to the shoulder straps.

IMPORTANT!

If you are converting the car seat from for- ward-facing use to rear-facing use, REPOSI-

TION THE SHOULDER STRAPS IN THE LOWER OR MIDDLE BLUE SHOULDER STRAP SLOTS.
