La température ambiante normale de fonctionnement devrait être comprise entre 10° C (50° F) et 38° C (100° F). La température normale de l’eau devrait être comprise entre 5°C (41° F) et 32° C (90° F). Le fonctionnement de l’appareil pendant de longues périodes à des températures en dehors de cette gamme peut affecter le rendement.

•En général, le filtrage de l’eau est toujours une bonne idée. Un filtre pour l’eau, s’il est du type approprié, peut supprimer les goûts et les odeurs et aussi les matières en suspension. Quand l’eau est très dure, l’eau adoucie peut produire des glaçons blancs et opaques qui adhèrent entre eux. L’eau déminéralisée n’est pas recommandée.

•L’appareil doit être installé avec tous les branchements électriques et de l’eau réalisés conformément aux prescriptions nationales et locales.

•L’appareil doit être placé sur une surface solide et plane. Il est important pour un fonctionnement correct que l’appareil soit mis à niveau. Si nécessaire, la hauteur de l’appareil peut être réglée en agissant sur le pied. Voir la section « Mise à niveau de l’appareil ».

•Une prise électrique standard (seulement 115 VCA, 60 Hz, 15 A), correctement branchée à la terre en conformité avec les prescriptions du Code Électrique National et avec les règlements locaux est nécessaire.

•IMPORTANT: Ne pas tordre ou pincer le câble d’alimentation entre l’appareil et les parois.
