TAKING PICTURES (AUTO MODE)

Photography
Set the Mode dial to “0”.

You can photograph subjects at distances of 50 cm
(1.6 ft.) to infinity. For subjects closer than 50 cm,
use Macro photography (➡P.42).

To take pictures using the viewfinder (excluding
Macro Photography), To use the LCD monitor to
take photographs, press the “DISP” button to
switch the LCD monitor on (➡P.29).
SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
➀Use “d” or “c” to select the item you want to
set (year, month, date, hour or minute) and then
use “a()” or “b()” to correct the setting.
➁When you have corrected the setting, press
the “MENU/OK” button.
Return to the SET-UP menu.
➀Press “a()” or “b()” to select “END”.
➁Press the “MENU/OK” button to end the setup
procedure.

Hold down the “a()” or “b()”button to scroll
the numbers up or down continuously.

When the displayed time passes “12:00:00”, the
camera automatically switches between AM and PM.

You cannot specify the time in seconds. To set the
time precisely, press the “MENU/OK” button when
the time reaches 0 (zero) seconds.
