
Using the Menus: Playback Mode
RTRIMMING
To create a cropped copy of a picture, play the picture back and select RTRIMMING in the playback menu (pg. 76).
1Use the zoom control to zoom in and out and use the selector to scroll the picture until the desired portion is displayed (to exit to single- frame playback without creating a cropped copy, press DISP/BACK).

2 Press MENU/OK. A confirmation dialog will be displayed.

Copy size (0, 1, 2, or 3; see page 65) is shown at the top; if the size is 3, OK is displayed in yellow. When you crop (trim) an image, the resulting image will be enlarged. However, the more you crop, the resulting image quality will be reduced; all copies have an aspect ratio of 4:3.
3 Press MENU/OK to save the cropped
BTip: Intelligent Face Detection If the picture was shot with
Intelligent Face Detection (pg. 21), B will be displayed in the monitor. Press the B button to zoom in on the selected face.
