INSTALLATION ON A Mac OS X

Only FinePixViewer is installed on Mac OS X.
!
AVI movies cannot be played back on version 10.0.4.
1Switch your Macintosh on and start up Mac OS X. Do not launch any other applications.
2Load the enclosed CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
The “FinePix” window opens.

If the “FinePix” window does not open automatically, double-
click the CD-ROM icon.
3Double-click “Installer for MacOS X”.
4Click the “ ” icon.
5Enter the administrator name and password. Then
click the [OK] button.
6Click the [Continue] button.

Using the FinePix Internet Service
The user registration procedure for the FinePix Internet Service and the service upload method are
different from those used in Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2.
NOTE
iConnect the camera directly to the Macintosh using the special USB cable. The software may notoperate correctly if you use an extension cable or connect the camera via a USB hub.iPush the USB connector fully into the socket to ensure that it is securely connected. The softwaremay not operate correctly if the connection is faulty.iAdditional USB interface board is not guaranteed.iOn Macintosh computers, allocate at least 400 MB of virtual memory when RAW FILE CONVERTERLE is used. If other applications will be used at the same time, allocate the additional amount requiredfor those applications also.
7Quit any other programs that are running and then click the [Continue] button.
