Use this mode to take close-up shots.

CAUTION

•When Super Macro is set, focal length is fixed to 60 mm (35 mm camera equivalent). Zoom function is not available.

•When Super Macro is set, flash or [NATURAL & d] cannot be used.

•Use a tripod to prevent camera shake in Macro mode.

•Any of the following cancels Macro mode:-Changing the Mode dial to , or rmode

-Turning the camera off

•If the flash is too bright, use flash brightness adjustment (➝P.88).

•Even if [ MULTI] (➝p.86) in the [ AF MODE] is set, the camera focuses near the center of the screen.

•AF-assist may not function correctly if the camera is up close to the subject, such as in macro-mode.
