Shooting Mode

E(EAUTO/EPriority)

Optimize settings for your current subject or improve clarity, reduce noise, or enhance dynamic range. Choose one of the following E modes in the shooting menu.

■R(EAUTO)

The camera automatically selects the scene and E mode according to shooting conditions (P23).

R If Sis selected for OIMAGE SIZE in Rmode, the camera will automatically select the optimal image size.

RRINTELLIGENTDIGITALZOOMis restricted to 2× (P95). Scene icon

* If nis displayed, the camera will take a series of shots (advanced anti-blur; P31).

QThe mode selected may vary with shooting conditions. If the mode and subject do not match, select Bmode (P32) or choose SP (P33) and select a scene manually.
