Introduction

Thank you for buying our KVM Switch (from here on, simply referred to as the "switch device"). This switch device is usable with PC/AT compatibles as well as supporting Sun and multi-platform configurations. Requiring only a single master set of control devices (monitor, keyboard and mouse), this switch device allows you to operate multiple PC/AT compatible and Sun model computers (hereafter referred to as "hosts") from a single console setup. Hosts can be selected simply via the select switches, keyboard or using the on screen display (OSD).

Safety instructions are provided to ensure the safe use of the switch device.

Also, be sure to thoroughly read this User's Manual before you start using the switch device to ensure correct use. Be sure to keep this User's Manual in a safe place for future

reference.

This user’s manual is written for 4-port, 8-port and 16-port setups. Unless specifically noted, all explanations assume an 8-port setup.
