1.3.2 CPU Module

Each CPU module contains SPARC64VI processors or SPARC64 VII/SPARC64 VII+

processors. Each processor chip incorporates and implements the following:

■Chip multithreading (CMT) design that sequentially executes the multiple

processes on the CPU.

■SPARC64VI processors are two-core processors.

■SPARC64VII/SPARC64 VII+ processors are four-core processors.
