Using the on-screen display

To start play at a particular DVD title or chapter number:
1Press DISPLAY on the remote control. The DVD player is in Title/chapter
search mode.
2Select a title or chapter number by pressing the numeric buttons on the
remote control.
Example:
■To select the number 3, press 3.
■To select the number 11, press +10, 1.
3Press ENTER or (play).
To start play at a particular DVD title or CD track elapsed time:
1Press DISPLAY on the remote control. The DVD player is in Title/chapter
search mode.
2Press the remote control cursor buttons and to switch between
Title/chapter search mode and Title/time search mode.
3Select the elapsed time by pressing the numeric buttons on the remote
control.
Example:
■To enter 3 minutes, 15 seconds, press 0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 5.
■To enter 2 hours, 59 minutes, 35 seconds, press 0, 2, 5, 9, 3, 5.
4If you are playing a DVD, press ENTER or (play).
-OR-
If you are playing a CD, the CD begins play automatically.
Important If you enter an incorrect number, press the CLEAR button
on the remote control. All numbers will be cleared.
