Playing songs in random order
Playing CD tracks in random order
To play CD tracks in random order:
1With the disc stopped or playing, press RANDOM on the remote control.
The selected playback mode appears on the display and television.
Each time this button is pressed, the playback mode changes:
■Random on - random playback. Tracks on the disc are played back in
random order
■Random off - normal playback.
2Press ENTER or (play) to play the selected track.
Playing MP3 files in random order
To play MP3 files in random order:
1With the disc stopped, press RANDOM on the remote control. The selected
playback mode appears on the display and television.
Each time this button is pressed, the playback mode changes:
■Random on - random playback. Files in the current folder are played
back in random order
■Random off - normal playback.
2Press the remote control cursor buttons and to select the folder and
file menu.
Important The information in this section only applies to CD and MP3
discs.
