Panneaux de moins de 1/4 po (6 mm) d’épaisseur

Lorsque vous installez des panneaux de bois ayant moins de 1/4 po (6 mm) d’épaisseur, vous aurez besoin d’un panneau de remplissage entre la porte et le panneau de bois, tel que du carton de 1/8 po. Si vous installez un panneau décoratif pré-coupé, un panneau de remplissage pré-coupé est fourni dans l’ensemble. L’épaisseur totale du panneau décoratif ou de bois avec le panneau de remplissage doit être de 1/4 po (6 mm).

Panneau de 3/4 po (19 mm) ou surélevé

Vous pouvez utiliser un panneau surélevé vissé ou collé sur un panneau de base de 1/4 po (6 mm) d’épaisseur, ou un panneau fraisé de 3/4 po (19 mm). La partie surélevée du panneau doit être fabriquée de façon à offrir un dégagement pour les doigts d’au moins 2 po (51 mm) du côté de la poignée.
