Check Installation:
ISB~S~ POW~~ CORD connected to aworking outlet?
Oo not use an outlet that can be turned ON and OFF by awall
switch.
IS T~~~P~O~~ ~1~~ CO~~ connected firmly to the base unit
and phone outlet?
Is BASE ANTENNA raised?
Is CO~O~~SS HANDSET out of range of the base?
Make sure BA~ER/ES are properly charged (12 Hours).
Is the B~TT~~Y PACK installed correctly (see page 19)?
Did the CORDLESS HANDSET beep when YOU pressed the phone
button? Did the phone light come on? If not, your cordless may
need to be,charged.
Disconnect CORDLESS PHONE and connect another phone to the
same jack. If no dial tone, then the problem may be in your wiring
or local sewice.
Reset security code by placing handset in base unit. (see page 9)
8. If you have pulse sewice on your line, your TONE/PULSE Switch on
the Base must be set on Pulse.
9. Make sure R/NGER Switch on Handset is “ON”.
10. Do you have too many extension phones on your telephone line? Try
unplugging some other phones.
11. Perform checks 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 above.

13. Is BASE ANTENNA raised?
14. IsHANDSET out of range from the BASE? Move closer to BASE.
