Step3:
Cleanspattersor soilon theoven
frontframe(A), under thefront
edgeofthe cooktop,thedoor liner
outsidethedoorgasket andthe
frontedgeof theovencavity(about
1“intotheoven). Usedetergent
andhot waterwithasoap-filled
steelwoolpad, thenrinse wellwith
avinegarandwater mixture.This
willhelppreventabrown residue
fromformingwhen theovenis
heated.Buffthese areaswith a
drycloth.
Donot letwater rundown through
openingsinthetop ofthe door (B).
Cleanthedoor gasket(C)usinga
cleansponge[osoakthe soiledarea
withhydrogenperoxicic.Repeated
soakingmaybeneededdepending
onthe amountofsoil. Frequent
cleaningwillpreventexcessivesoil
buildup.Do not rubthe door
gasket–thefiberglassmaterialof
thegaskethasan extremelylow
resistancetoabrasion.An intact
andwell-fittingovendoorgasketis
essentialforenergy-efficientoven
operationandgoodbakingresults.
Ifyou noticethegasketbecoming
worn,frayedor damagedinany
wayor ifit hasbecomedisplaced
onthe door,youshouldreplaceit.

ornear theself-cleaningoven.
Acombinationofanyofthese
productsplusthehighclean-cycle
temperaturemaydamagethe
porcelainfinishofthe oven.

Theovendoor mustbeclosed
andall controlsmustbeset
correctlyforthe cleancycleto
workproperly.Tohelpyou
understandhowthecleancycle
works,thestagesof thecycle
arenoted below.
1. You setthe controls.
2. Thewords“CLEAN TIME”
aredisplayed.TurnSET knob
until3:30 appears.Theoven
beginstoheat, thedoor locks
automaticallyandtheword
“LOCK”is displayed.
Ifthe ovendooris notclosed,
theword “DOOR”is displayed
andtheovenbeepscontinuously.
Closethedoor,touchCANCEL
andbeginagain.
3. Whenthe 3Y2hour clean
cycleisover,the word
“CLEAN”goes outand the
ovenbeginstocool.
4. Whenthe oventemperature
hasfallenbelowthe locking
temperature(about20-30
minutesafterthe word
“CLEAN” goesoutat the end
ofthe cleancycle),the word
“LOCK”goes outand the
doorcan beopened.
