8.1 Airplane Use

Install in an airplane the same way as

in an automobile with a lap only belt. Notify the airline ahead of time that you intend to bring the seat on board.

Use only in forward-facing aircraft seat. Follow the flight attendants instructions about infant restraint placement. Do not use this infant restraint if the airplane seat belt does not hold the infant restraint securely.

8.2 Storing UAS (Universal Anchorage System)

1. For ease of storing, extend

UAS to its maximum length.

2. Locate the storage bars on

bottom of infant restraint base ➌.

3. Fasten connector (without

adjustment belt) onto storage bar.

4. Repeat step 3 for connector with adjustment belt. After fastening onto storage bar, pull on adjustment belt to make sure

UAS is securely fastened.

5. UAS storage should look

like this when complete ➌.
