7CAUTION

Always usethis startup procedureto ensure that the Unit is started safelyand properly.

1 . Check oil levels.

Engine: Add SA30€ or 1OW-3OweigM detergentoil as necessary.

Pump: Add SAE20 or 30 weight non-detergentoil as necessary.

NOTE: Thispressurewasher is equippedwitha low-oil sensor that shuts the engineoff if the oil level falls below a certain level. If the unit stopsunexpectedly,checkboththe oil and the fuel levels. Check theoil level each time the unitis refueled.

2.Check fuel level.

Ifthe engine is cold, completely close the engine choke. Press the start button. in cool weather, the choke may have to be kept closed for 10 to 30

secondsbeforeopeningit to keep theengine running. Otherwise, open thechoke as soon as the engine starts.

Iftheengine is warm, leave the choke open or partiallyclosed.Start the engine describedasinthe preceding paragraph. When the engine starts. be sure to open thechoke completely.

7. ALWAYS engagethegun'striggersafety latch whenever you stop spraying, even for a moment,to reduce the risk offluid injection or splashing inthe eyes or onthe skin if the isgunbumpedor triggered accidentally.

4. Triggerthegununtilwaterspraysfromthetip indicatingthat the airis purged from the system.

5.Be sure the spark plug ignition cables are pushed firmlyonto thespark plugs. The ignition shutoff switch should be inthe "on" position. The throttle should be inthe "run" position.

6.Start theengine.

NOTE For easier starting, have one person start the pressurewasherwhileanotherperson

triggers the spraygun.

inletwaterscreenThisscreenhelps.keep abrasive sediment out of the pump, which could clog or scratch the pumpKeep. this screen clean.
