Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning Items
Upgrade via This field lets you
choose the firmware upgrade
method. The GXV3615 supports
HTTP, HTTPS and TFTP.
Firmware Server Path The IP
address or domain name of the
firmware server (the location of t he
firmware files) .
Automatic Upgrade Interval Enter the frequency (in mi nutes) in which the
HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP server will be checked for new firmware u pgrades or configuration
changes.
Automatic Upgrade The default s etting is “No.” Choose “Yes” to enabl e automatic.
HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP upgrade an d provisioning. W hen set to “No”, the IP C amera will only
perform a HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP upgr ade and perform a configurat ion check once during the
boot process.
Performing a firmware upgrade:
1. Download the firmware package from http://www.grandstream.com/fi rmware.html.
2. Unzip the firmware package and co py the files to the firmware upgr ade server
directory.
Upgra des are supported via TFTP, HTTP and HTTPS.
3. Log in to the Maintenance pag e of the GXV3615. Select the s erver type from the
dropdown list under the “Upgrad e Via” field. Enter your server‟s root directory in the
“Firmware Server Path” field.
4. Reboot the GXV3615 to begin t he firmware upgrade process .

The SMTP server is used to send o ut emails when
an alarm event or motion detecti on is triggered.
The SMTP settings must be config ured to make sure
the alarm email is sent out prop erly.

server, for example, smtp.gmail.com.
