STUN S erver If the device is behind a route r, a STUN server is needed to help
penetrate the NAT.
4. Click Save to save the changes. You might need to reboot the device to ap ply all the
changes.

The GXV3615 has the ability to receive ph one calls and make phone calls wh en an alarm
event is triggered through motion detection or alarm input. Register the GXV 3615 to a SIP
server to enable the product to m ake and receive phone calls. To make outgoing phone
calls out, the user needs to con figure the Phone List properly.
Register GXV3615 to a SIP Server
1. From t he GXV3615 home page, click Basic Setting s > SIP.
2. Go to S IP Settings Tab.

Registered The field shows the registra tion
status of the account with the SIP serv er.
Unregister On Reboot If it‟s checked, the S IP user‟s registration information wil l be
cleared from the server when the phone reboots.
4. Enter t he required information.
Account Name The field configures the SIP account name.
SIP Server The SIP Server‟s IP address or Domain name provided by your ser vice
provider.
Outbound Proxy The IP address or Domain name of the Outbound Pro xy, Media
Gateway, or Session Border Con troller. Used for firewall or NAT pene tration in different
network environments. If the syst em detects a symmetric NAT, STUN wil l not work.
ONLY outbound proxies can pro vide a solution for a symmetric N AT.
