Positive Stop
Personal injury or death can occur if the bandsaw starts during table adjust- ments. Disconnect power from the bandsaw before performing table adjust- ments.
The positive stop allows the table to be quickly and accurately returned to the horizontal (0˚) posi- tion after being adjusted to a different angle.
To set up the positive stop:
1.DISCONNECT BANDSAW FROM POWER!
2.Locate the positive stop bolt under the table as shown in Figure 19.
3.Loosen the jam nut on the positive stop bolt.
4.Raise the upper blade guide to the highest position.

5.Place a 6" square on the table surface and determine if the blade is square to the table surface as shown in Figure 19.
— If the blade is square with the table sur- face: Lock the table into position, tighten the jam nut on the positive stop bolt, and adjust the scale pointer to the 0˚ position. Continue to the next page.
—If the blade is NOT square to the table surface: Raise or lower the positive stop bolt until the blade is square to the table surface. When square, lock the table into position, tighten the jam nut on the positive stop bolt, and adjust the scale pointer to the 0˚ position. Continue to the next page.
