SECTION 3: ADJUSTMENTS

Headstock

The Model G1067Z headstock can be swiveled 180˚ as well as positioned anywhere along the bed.

To position the headstock along the bed:

1.Loosen the quick release lever by pushing it down. Figure 12.

2.Move the headstock to the desired position and re-engage the quick release lever. Figure 13. Note: The large Hex Nut under the headstock will require occasional adjust- ing to assure proper clamping pressure to the bed. Turn the Hex Nut in small incre- ments to fine tune the clamping pressure.

To swivel the headstock:

1.Loosen the quick release lever by pushing it down.

2.Pull the spring loaded quick release set pin (Figure 14) and rotate the headstock clock- wise 90˚ or 180˚.
