Hanging the Filter

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before you install the model G9956, bench-test the unit to make sure it runs properly.

If, during the test run, you cannot easily locate the source of an unusual noise or vibration, stop using the machine immediately, and contact our Tech Support at (570) 546-9663 for assistance.

To test run the air filter unit:

1.Place the air filter unit on the floor or a sturdy work bench.

1.Connect the unit to the power source.

2.Make sure you have read the safety instruc- tions at the beginning of the manual and that the air filter unit is setup properly.

3.Make sure all tools and objects used dur- ing setup are cleared away from the air filter unit.

4.Turn the air filter unit ON and switch between fan speeds.

5.Listen to and watch for abnormal noises or vibrations. The machine should run smoothly with only a small vibration in the cabinet.

—Strange or unusual noises must be inves- tigated and corrected before operating the air filter unit further. Always disconnect the machine from power when investigating or correcting potential problems.

6.Turn the air filter unit OFF.

Hanging the FilterTo test run the air filter unit: fall and cause serious

injury if it is not properly mounted. DO NOT fasten it to sheet rock, press board, paneling or anything other than joists.

Follow these steps and refer to Figure 5 when hanging the double air filter.
