Selecting sound effects

You can select from the sound settings USER, CLASSIC, POP, JAZZ

and ROCK. The basic setting is USER.

1Select the sound setting by pressing »DSC«.

– Display: »USER «, »CLASSIC X«, »POP C«, »JAZZ

V« or »ROCK Y«.

Setting the equaliser

The USER sound setting allows you to make your own personal

equaliser settings.

1When the device is on, press »DSC« until »USER « appears

in the display.

2Press»DSC« again for approximately 2 seconds.

– Display: »BASS 0«.

3Press »DSC« to choose the setting (BASS or TREBLE).

– Display: »BASS 0« or »TRE 0«.

Note:

If you do not press any button within five seconds, the hi-fi

system will automatically quit this mode.

4Set the values by pressing »– VOLUME +« (maximum »+6«,

minimum »-6«).

– The equaliser display disappears after 5 seconds.

Switching the Ultra Bass System on and off

1Press »UBS« to switch the Ultra Bass System on and off.

– Display: »UBS B«.

Switching the display

In Tuner and CD mode you can switch the display to show the time

and day.

1Press »DISPLAY« repeatedly on the remote control until time

and day appear in the display.
