Tuning and storing radio stations

 

 

Automatic station search (ASP)

 

 

After the stereo system has been connected to the mains for the first time, the

 

 

device searches in tuner mode on the FM waveband for the 40 stations with the

 

 

 

 

strongest reception strength and stores them. In this process, preference is given

 

 

to RDS stations.

1 After connection, switch on the stereo system with »TUNER /BAND«.

– Display: »FM«, the frequency in rapid run-through, »PRESET« flashes.

 

 

 

 

– The search has begun. After the search has finished, the station stored in

 

 

 

 

position 01 can be heard.

Note:

The automatic station search can be interrupted with »PROGR«.

Automatic station search

1Switch on the stereo using the »TUNER /BAND« button.

Display: »TUNER«, then the waveband and frequency or station name.

2Select the frequency band (FM or MW) by pressing the »TUNER/BAND« button.

Display: »FM« or »MW«.

3Activate the station search by pressing »TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device until the frequency display changes to rapid run-through.

The search stops when a programme is found.

4To switch to manual tuning, press »TUNING UP/DOWN« once on the device briefly.
