HELPFUL HAAN HINT: Using the Pet Plus™will not lift all set-in stains from your carpet, but our patented Ultra-Microfiber Pads may be used to act as a “blotter” for removing most fresh, wet spills and stains.

!CAUTION

Never leave the appliance in one spot on any surface for any period of time. Always place your Pet Plus™ on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat when stationary, and make sure the Floor Sanitizer is turned off when not in use.

minutes put your foot on a corner of the pad and lift the Pet Plus™ off the pad (Fig 13).

Replace with a dry pad on the steam head, turn the Pet Plus™ back on and once the thermal indicator turns orange, continue cleaning.

4)To keep the floor clean and dry, replace the pad when it is dirty and/or saturated.

Using the Pet Plus™ to Remove Fresh Stains:

The Ultra-Microfiber Pads can be used to break up fresh stains on carpeting, rugs, upholstery, pet cushions and other soft surfaces. Follow these instructions to make the most of your Pet Plus™.

1)Follow the instructions to attach a cleaning pad and set up the unit for use (Steps 4-8, pg 8).

2)With pad in place (Fig 14), put the Pet Plus™ over the stain and hold it in place for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate the area of the stain.

3)Push and pull the Pet Plus™ slowly across the stained area to work the steam into the stain.

4)Place the Pet Plus™ on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat, turn it OFF and wait until the unit cools down (approximately 5 minutes). Remove the used pad.

5)Return the Pet Plus™ to the Resting Mat and

turn the unit ON. Once the Thermal Indicator has changed to orange indicating it is ready to use, place a dry Ultra-Microfiber Pad on the floor — hook & loop side up — and press the unit onto the pad.

6)Use the pad to rub the stain area, simultaneously working at the stain and blotting the moisture from the surface.

7)When you have finished using the unit, turn it OFF, place it on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat and wait until the Pet Plus™ cools down before removing the Ultra-Microfiber Pad from the base by placing your foot on a corner of the pad and lifting the Pet Plus™ off the pad.

8)Store the unit upright in a protected dry area, standing it on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat or hanging it by the Storage Hook (Fig 15).
