Dégivrage du Réfrigérateur (voir Fig. # 12)

Pour des économies d’énergie optimum, faire dégivrer le compartiment de congélation à chaque fois que du givre s’accumule sur les parois du congélateur en couche de 0,63mm ou plus. Il est bon de noter que le givre à tendance à s’accumuler plus rapidement pendant les mois d’été.

Pour faire dégivrer le congélateur, retirer les aliments du compartiment de congélation puis enfoncer le bouton de dégivrage situé au centre du bouton de réglage de la température. Ce bouton désactive le compresseur et permet à la glace de fondre. Le Compresseur se remet automatiquement en marche à la fin du cycle de dégivrage.

Durant le cycle de dégivrage, l’eau s’accumule dans le plateau de recueillement de l’eau. Egoutter l’eau dans un bol en retirant le bouchon de vidange situé sur la partie inférieure du plateau de recueillement de l’eau. (consulter le schéma n°12) Il est parfois plus simple de retirer le plateau de recueillement de l’eau au moment du dégivrage.

Après le dégivrage, videz et essuyez en bas de l'intérieur du congélateur. Vous pouvez maintenant remettre à l'état initial votre réfrigérateur à la température et à la nourriture désirées de retour.
