Specific Safety Instructions

1.CAUTION: To prevent serious injury:

a.Do not exceed maximum air pres- sure of 90 PSI.

b.Do not direct spray at any person, or animal at any time.

c.Always wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and breathing respirator while using.

d.Use coveralls (disposable, or wash- able) to cover entire body while us- ing this product.

e.Read entire manual before using this Texture Paint Spray Gun.

2.The warnings and precautions dis- cussed in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be under- stood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

3.WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drill- ing, and other construction activities, contains chemicals known [to the State of California] to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:

•Lead from lead-based paints

•Crystalline silica from bricks and cement or other masonry products

•Arsenic and chromium from chemi- cally treated lumber

Your risk from these exposures var- ies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles. 4.Only use with accessories rated to handle the forces exerted by this tool during operation. Other accessories not designed for the forces gener- ated may break and forcefully launch pieces.

5.Attach all accessories properly to the tool before connecting the air sup- ply. A loose accessory may detach or break during operation.

6.Install an in-line shutoff valve to allow immediate control over the air supply in an emergency, even if a hose is ruptured.

Vibration Precautions

This tool vibrates during use. Re- peated or long-term exposure to vibra- tion may cause temporary or permanent physical injury, particularly to the hands, arms and shoulders. To reduce the risk of vibration-related injury:
