Replacing the Backup Battery
Note: This battery was installed at the factory and, with normal use, should not need changing for 24 months after you begin using your Princess Dear Diary.
Using a Phillips® screwdriver, remove the screw on the small battery compartment door. Lift and remove the battery compartment door.
Remove the CR2032 button cell battery and replace it with one of the same type. The “+” should be facing you.
Replace the battery compartment door and screw.
