F. Tools and Supplies Needed

Before beginning the installation be sure the following tools and building supplies are available:

Reciprocating saw	Framing material
Pliers	Non-combustible sealant
Hammer	Gloves
Phillips screwdriver	Framing square
Flat blade screwdriver	Electric drill and bits
Plumb line	Safety glasses
Level	Tape measure

1/2-3/4 in. length, #6 or #8 self-drilling screws Misc. screws and nails

G. Fireplace System Requirements

This ﬁreplace system requires:

•Fireplace/integral grate/ﬁrebrick/outside air system/ junction box/fan kit

•Chimney system

•Hearth Extension

Optional components include:

•Glass doors

•Chimney Air Kit

H. Inspect Fireplace and Components

WARNING! Risk of Fire and/or Explosion! Damaged parts could impair safe operation. DO NOT install dam- aged, incomplete or substitute components. Keep ﬁre- place dry.

•Remove ﬁreplace and components from packaging and inspect for damage.

•Vent system components and doors are shipped in separate packages.

•Report to your dealer any parts damaged in shipment.

•Read all the instructions before starting the installation. Follow these instructions carefully during the installation to ensure maximum safety and beneﬁt.
