Adjusting the nailing depth

To assure that each nail penetrate to the same depth, be sure that

(1)the air pressure to the Nailer remains constant(regulator is installed and working properly)

(2)the Nailer is always held firmly against the workpiece.

If nails are driven too deep or shallow into the workpiece, adjust the nailing depth in the following order.

1 DISCONNECT AIR HOSE FROM NAILER

2 If nails are driven too deep, turn the adjuster to the shallow side. If nails are driven too shallow, turn the adjuster to the deep side.

NV 65AF3 specifications

The Hitachi NV 65AF3 is a powerful, versatile tool designed for professionals in construction and woodworking, particularly in the framing and installation of materials. This pneumatic nailer is noteworthy for its combination of advanced technology and user-friendly features that enhance efficiency and productivity on the job site.

One of the stand-out features of the NV 65AF3 is its lightweight design. Weighing in at just under 4.4 pounds, the nailer allows for ease of handling over extended periods, reducing fatigue for users. This portability is complemented by its compact size, making it suitable for tight spaces where larger tools may prove cumbersome.

The NV 65AF3 utilizes a pneumatic power source, which means it requires an air compressor to operate. This not only provides a consistent power output but also allows the nailer to deliver impressive performance in terms of driving power. The tool is capable of driving nails ranging from 1-1/4 inches to 2-1/2 inches in length, making it suitable for applications such as framing, sheathing, and roofing.

Another key feature is its adjustable depth of drive. This functionality allows users to finely tune how deep the nails are driven into the material, ensuring precision and consistency in finishing work. The tool also includes a selective actuation switch that enables users to choose between sequential and contact firing modes. The sequential mode offers greater control, making it ideal for delicate tasks, while the contact mode allows for faster nailing in production environments.

A robust magazine holds up to 100 nails, enabling longer run times between reloads. The NV 65AF3’s rear exhaust directs air away from the user and work surface, keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Durability is another hallmark of the Hitachi NV 65AF3, with its rugged construction designed to withstand the rigors of job sites. The tool also features a rubber grip handle designed for comfort and stability during use.

In conclusion, the Hitachi NV 65AF3 is an exemplary pneumatic nailer, merging portability, power, and precision. Its user-centric design and durable build make it a reliable choice for contractors seeking a high-performance tool for a wide range of applications. Whether framing, roofing, or installing wood, the NV 65AF3 delivers the reliability and efficiency professionals demand.
