If you wish to exchange or copy some ofyour friend's favorite home recordings, the following instructions can be
used to connect camcorder toVCR for this purpose.
1 Connect the audio/video cable to "AUDIO" and "VIDEO" of your camcorder.
2. Connect the other ends to "AUDIO IN", "VIDEO IN" of your VCR as shown in diagram above.
3. Play the tape onthe camcorder and record iton the VCR.
NOTE: Ifyou Connect the ,VHF OUT TO TV,' connecto rof VCR to the ',TV ANT" connector, as illustratedand 1
set .VCR/TV. selector of the VCR to "VCR" mode, the picture being dubbed by VCR canbe monitored.
1 Remove the lens hood.
Turn the lens hood counterclockwise as shown inthe figure.
Or, attach the lens cap over the lens hood, then turn them counterclockwise to remove them
2 Remove both caps of the telephoto or wide angle lens
3. Screw the lens into the threads on the front of camcorder lens assembly.
Use thebuilt-in camera light if you wish to shoot objects in dark places.
When "LIGHT" is set to "AUTO", the camera light turns onautomatically when the camcorder ispointed at
objects ina darkplace and turns offwhen itis pointed at objects ina brightplace.
CAUTION: The power consumption of the built-in camera light is about ahalf that of the camcorder. Therefore, 1
if the camera light isturned on when afully charged battery packis attached, the operating time Ofthe battery
falls to about a half.
