World Scale Programming PLU Speedkeys in Operator Mode (WC30) Assigning a PLU Speedkey (1-7) for a Random Weight Product (WC30)
Using World Scale 3-16
Speedkeys allow you to quickly access your fastest selling items
with minimal keystrokes. They are set up so that one press results
in several actions.
Speedkeys 1 through 7 are visible on the Console. These can be
programmed in Operator mode, if they have not already been set
up in Supervisor mode.

This function is helpful to minimize key presses on fast-selling
Random Weight items.
Note
• You will not be able to program a PLU Speedkey if it has
already been changed in Supervisor mode.
• To program PLU Speedkeys 8 through 30, refer to Chapter
Four: Supervisor Mode.
To assign a PLU Speedkey (1-7) for a Random
Weight Product:
1. Assign a Tare to the PLU (if required). When
assigning Tare, you can either use a container or
enter the value.
--OR--
a) Place the container on the scale
--OR--
TYPE the Tare value using a Short PRESS
on the Keypad.

1. Assign Tare (if required)
a) Place container on scale
--OR--
TYPE Tare value
b) Short PRESS [TARE]
2. Assign Unit Price (if required)
a) TYPE Unit Price
b) Long PRESS chosen PLU key
3. Remove container
4. Short PRESS [C], if needed
5. Short PRESS [TARE]
b) Short PRESS the [TARE] key.
