World Scale Examples of Navigating Supervisor Mode
4-7 Supervisor Mode
The following examples will give you a better understanding of
how to navigate in Supervisor mode. Use the Function Keys and
Function Codes as shown on the previous page to better
understand the examples.
The first example, Turn the Keyboard Beeper Off, is a good way to
start. The second example, Changing the Duration of a Long
PRESS, shows how to change a Function Value with multiple
digits. This will benefit WP30 Users. The last example,
Programming a PLU, is for WC30 Users.
Look At This
The current Function Value must be cleared [C] before a new
value can be entered, even if the current Function Value is zero!
Turn the Keyboard Beeper Off
1. Enter Supervisor mode according to your scale’s
instructions. See Entering Supervisor Mode (WP30)
or Entering Supervisor Mode (WC30).
2. Long PRESS the RIGHT ARROW []
key until you get to Function Code 19.
3. Short PRESS the RIGHT ARROW []
key one time for Sub-Function Code 01.
4. Short PRESS the [C] key. This tells the
World Scale that you are going to change
the Function Value.
WC30 WP30 5. Change the Function Value according to
your scale’s method:
Use the keypad for WC30 or the
ARROW keys for WP30.
6. Long PRESS the RIGHT ARROW [] key to get
World Scale to accept the change.
7. Exit Supervisor mode according to your scale’s instructions.
