For winterizing and long-term storage:

nDisconnect the water connection, if necessary.

nStart the pressure washer and allow it to run for a few seconds to eliminate any water remaining in the pump.

nCoil the hoses and place in the hook-and loop strap on the unit’s handle. Do not allow the hose to become kinked.

nStore the unit and accessories in an area that does not reach freezing temperatures. Do not store near furnace or other sources of heat that could dry out the pump seals.

CAUTION:

The use of a pump protector is recommended to prevent cold weather damage during storage over the winter months.

moving the pressure washer­

To move the pressure washer:

nTurn the pressure washer off. Point nozzle in a safe direc- tion and pull trigger to release water pressure.

nStore the spray wand on the unit.

nTilt the machine toward you until it balances on the wheels then roll the machine to the desired position.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING:

When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.

WARNING:

Always wear eye protection marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in objects be- ing thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.

WARNING:

Before inspecting, cleaning or servicing the machine, shut off engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and discon- nect spark plug wire and move it away from spark plug. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious personal injury or property damage.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

WARNING:

Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum- based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.

Only the parts shown on the parts list are intended to be repaired or replaced by the customer. All other parts should be replaced at an authorized service center.

PUMP lubrication

The pump on this unit is lubricated with a sufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal operating conditions. Therefore, no further lubrication is required.

g-clean detergent injector maintenance­

Before storing the G-Clean detergent injector, rinse to re- move any detergent residue and allow to dry completely before reassembly.

POWER SUPPLY CORD REPLACEMENT

If replacement of the power supply cord is necessary, this must be done by an authorized service center in order to avoid a safety hazard.
