9. TRANSPORTING/STORAGE CAUTION : When transporting the generator, turn the engine switch and oil alert I
switch OFF and keep the generator level to prevent fuel spillage. Fuel vapor or
spilled fuel may ignite.
Before storing the unit for an extended period :
1. Assure the storage area is free of excessive hunmidity and dust.
2. Drain the fuel.
a. With the fuel valve OFF, remove and empty the sediment
CUP.
b. Turn the fuel valve ON and drain the gasoline in the fuel tank into a suitable
container.
c. Replace the sediment cup and tighten securely.
