Charging the Main Battery

The base powers the terminal and fully charges its main battery pack in an average of 5 1/2 hours for a fully depleted battery. It takes less time if the battery has some charge.

As battery packs charge, the charging circuitry follows the two- step charging process (CC-CV) that is recommended for Li-Ion batteries. The process monitors changes in temperature, current, and voltage.

Inserting a Terminal

1. Install the battery pack in the terminal; see Install the Main Battery on page 2-1.

2. Power the base; see Powering the Dolphin HomeBase Device on page 9-4.

3.Slide the terminal into the terminal well making certain that the terminal is seated properly.

4. The battery pack begins charging.

!Make sure the terminal is dry before placing it in the base.

Do NOT place a wet terminal in the base! Doing so may cause damage not covered by the warranty.
