qUnpack cleaner from carton and identify the parts shown. Remove
and dispose packing.

The assembled cleaner will look like the drawing above.
1 .Power nozzle
2.Wand storage clip*: place cleaner on end and hook clip on bottom of cleaner
3.Lightweight hose
4.Spring latch: locks extension wands together or locks wand to nozzle or tool.
Plastic latch ring on plastic wands: see item #IO
5.Extension wands: used with rug and floor nozzle. One or both wands may be used with cleaning tools. (Some models have plastic wands; some models have metal wands.)
6.Hand grip
7.Receptacle: connects power nozzle cord underneath hand grip.
8.Cord clip: fastens nozzle cord to extension wands. On some models a separate cord clip snaps onto wands.
9.Suction regulator: close for maxi- mum suction; open if power nozzle is difficult to push on some carpets or if lightweight rugs or draperies are being cleaned.
10.Plastic latch ring: located on hand grip and plastic wands; rotate to lock wands and cleaning tools to hose.
11.Cord hook: rotate hook inward for quick cord release.
On some models:
Cord rewind pedal: step on pedal to rewind cord for storage. Hold plug until cord is rewound.
