Managing batteries

Your camera uses two AA batteries. For best results, use photo-lithium or rechargeable NiMH batteries. If you must use alkaline batteries, use high-grade “ultra” or “premium” varieties instead of ordinary alkaline batteries.

The following table shows how different types of batteries perform in different types of use scenarios:
