To remove a device from the undocked configuration

When Windows 95 installs a new docking station device, it may include the device in both the docked and undocked configuration. To prevent problems when undocking, remove the device from the undocked configuration.

1.Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, System.

2.Click the Device Manager tab and find the card you installed in the list—if it is a network card, it will be under Network Adapters.

3.Select the card, then click Remove.

4.When the Confirm Device Removal box appears, select Remove From Specific Configuration.

5.Under Configuration, select Undocked, then choose OK.
