This new revision 1.0 bundle is the same as the previous 1.1 bundle since we did not remove the ls patch from the depot.

Running make_bundles with the –B option to repackage the bundle has the same effect:

# make_bundles -B -i -n "PB_ Sept_2007" \

>-t "backup commands patches for Sept 2007" \

>-r 1.0 /var/opt/ignite/depots/Rel_B.11.23/patches

The make_bundles second form

The second form of make_bundles uses the –boption. The –boption causes make_bundles to operate on all products and filesets that are not contained within a bundle.

/opt/ignite/bin/make_bundles [-b] [-p-f] [-i] [-c category] [-o psf]

depot_path

The –pand –foptions specify that multiple bundles are to be created.

If –pis specified and –bis not, a bundle is created for each product in the depot.

If both –pand –bare specified, a bundle is created for every product in the depot which does not already belong to a bundle.

If –fis specified and –bis not, a bundle is created for each fileset in the depot.

If both –fand –bare specified, a bundle is created for each fileset in the depot which does not already belong to a bundle.
