Using the Home Theater Kit

Contents of the Home Theater Kit

The home theater kit contains five cables:

1S-video cable—connects the projector to a video source with super video capabilities (e.g., DVD player, video cassette recorder, laser disc player, camcorder, satellite

dish receiver, etc.) using an S-video connector.

2Composite video cable—connects the projector to a video source without super video capabilities (e.g., videocassette recorder) using a composite video connector.

3VGA-to-HDTV/Component video cable—connects the projector to a video source for high quality video playback. The component video cable connects directly to a standard VGA connector. In addition, this cable can be used to connect the projector to a High Definition TV (HDTV) source. For details on HDTV support, refer to “HDTV Modes” later in this chapter.

4Home Theater audio cable—connects a home theater device with stereo speakers to the projector.

5PC audio cable—connects a personal computer with a single audio input connector to the projector.
