Turning the TV On and Off

The TV has a Power button on the right side of the panel. You can also use the Power button on the remote control to turn on the TV.

Pressing the Power button turns the TV either on or off.

The initial TV setup starts when the TV turns on for the first time. If the TV has been turned on before, the Setup Wizard does not start. To start the Setup Wizard from the onscreen display (OSD) Setup menu, see “Starting the Setup Wizard” on page 80.

If you will not be using the TV for an extended period of time, press the Power button to turn off the TV, and then unplug the AC power cord.

Using the remote control to turn the TV on or off

Point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the front of the TV, and press the remote control Power button. The TV turns on or off.
