DL_HP_MULTICAST_LIST_REQ
State
The message is valid in any state in which there is not a local acknowledgment pending with the exception of DL_UNATTACH.
New State
The resulting state is unchanged.
Response
If the multicast request is successful, a
DL_HP_MULTICAST_LIST_ACK is sent to the DLS user. If the requests fails, DL_ERROR_ACK is returned and the resulting state is unchanged.
Reasons for Failure
DL_OUTSTATE
Primitive was issued from an invalid state.
DL_SYSERR
A system error has occurred and the UNIX system error is indicated in the DL_ERROR_ACK.
DL_HP_MULTICAST_LIST_ACKReports the successful completion of a DL_HP_MULTICAST_LIST_REQ primitive. A complete list of the multicast addresses for a specific LAN interface are returned after the control message header.
