1.10  Applications

The Applications tab holds all installed applications on your phone. All icons of applications that you downloaded and installed from Android Market or from the web are also added to the Applications tab.

Important Some applications that are mentioned in the User Manual may not be available on your phone by default. The applications available on the phone depends on the region where you purchased the phone.

To open the Applications tab

Press HOME, and then touch . To hide the Applications tab, touch .

Tip To open applications quickly, you can add the icons of frequently-used applications to the Home screen or to folders which you have created. For details, see “Customize the Home screen” earlier in this chapter.

Recently-used applications

To open a recently-used application

1.Press and hold the HOME button to open the recently-used applications window.

The window displays the last six applications you have used after you turned on the phone.

2.Touch an icon in the window to open the related application.
