Troubleshooting guide
Symptom Cause Solution
No power The car ignition is not o n.
The fuse is blown.
If the power supply is properly connected
to the car accessory switch the ignition
key to “ACC”.
Replace the fuse.
Disc cannot be loaded. Presence of disc inside the player. Remove the disc in the player then put a
new upward.
Disc cannot be read.
(LCD shows
“ERROR2”)
Inserting the disc in upside down.
Compact disc is ext remely dirt y or
defective.
Temperature inside the car is too
high.
Insert the compact disc with the label
facing upward.
Clean the disc or try to play a new one.
Cool off u ntil the a mbient temp eratur e
retur n s to nor mal.
SD/MMC cannot be read.
(LCD shows
“ERROR8”)
Metal interface is rusty, extremely
dirty or defective. Clean the metal interface or try to play a
new one.
USB cannot be read.
(LCD shows “S-STOP”) Metal interface is rusty, extremely
dirty or defective. Clean the metal interface or try to play a
new one.
No sound Volume is in minimu m.
Wiring is not properly connected. Adjust vo lume to a desired le vel.
Check wiring connect io n.
The buttons do not work. The built-in microcomputer is not
operating properly due to noise.
Front panel is not properly fix into
its place.
Press RESET button.
Reinstall t he front panel.
