has
been
designed
for
your
connector.
The
available
templates
are
shown
in
the
Template

display.
When
you
select
a

in
the
Template

shows
the
connector-specific
properties
that
have
been
defined
in
that
template.
Select
the
template
you
want
to
use
and
click
OK.
4.
A
configuration
screen
appears
for
the
connector
that
you
are
configuring.
The
title
bar
shows
the
integration
broker
and
connector
name.
You
can
fill
in
all
the
field
values
to
complete
the
definition
now,
or
you
can
save
the
file
and
complete
the
fields
later.
5.
To
save
the
file,
click
File>Save>To
File
or
File>Save>To
Project.
To
save
to
a
project,
System
Manager
must
be
running.
If
you
save
as
a
file,
the
Save
File
Connector
dialog
box
appears.
Choose
*.cfg
as
the
file
type,
verify
in
the
File

was
successfully
created.
Important:
The
directory
path
and
name
that
you
establish
here
must
match
the
connector
configuration
file
path
and
name
that
you
supply
in
the
startup
file
for
the
connector.
6.
To
complete
the
connector
definition,
enter
values
in
the
fields
for
each
of
the
tabs
of
the
Connector
Configurator
window,
as

later
in
this
chapter.
Using
an
existing
file
You
may
have
an
existing
file
available
in
one
or
more
of
the
following
formats:
v
A
connector
definition
file.
This
is
a
text
file
that
lists
properties
and
applicable
default
values
for
a
specific
connector.
Some
connectors
include
such
a
file
in
a
\repository
directory
in
their
delivery
package
(the
file
typically
has
the
extension
.txt;
for
example,
CN_XML.txt
for
the
XML
connector).
v
An
ICS
repository
file.
Definitions
used
in
a
previous
ICS
implementation
of
the
connector
may
be
available
to
you
in
a
repository
file
that
was
used
in
the
configuration
of
that
connector.
Such
a
file
typically
has
the
extension
.in
or
.out.
v
A
previous
configuration
file
for
the
connector.
Such
a
file
typically
has
the
extension
*.cfg.
Although
any
of
these
file
sources
may
contain
most
or
all
of
the
connector-specific
properties
for
your
connector,
the
connector
configuration
file
will
not
be
complete
until
you
have
opened
the
file
and
set
properties,
as
described
later
in
this
chapter.
To
use
an
existing
file
to
configure
a
connector,
you
must
open
the
file
in
Connector
Configurator,
revise
the
configuration,
and
then
resave
the
file.
Follow
these
steps
to
open
a
*.txt,
*.cfg,
or
*.in
file
from
a
directory:
1.
In
Connector
Configurator,
click
File>Open>From
File.
2.
In
the
Open
File
Connector
dialog
box,
select
one
of
the
following
file
types
to
see
the
available
files:
v
Configuration
(*.cfg)
v
ICS
Repository
(*.in,
*.out)
